September Favorites: Cozy Transitions & Coastal Touches
As September winds down, I’ve been looking back at the little things that made this month feel so special. From cooler mornings and garden harvests to soccer sidelines and cozy weekends in the camper, it’s been a month of transition and fresh starts. I thought it would be fun to pull together a roundup of my September Favorites. These are the pieces I reached for again and again. The best part? They’re all easy finds on Amazon, so you can bring a little bit of this month’s magic into your own routine too.

This month I found myself living in mock turtlenecks. They were the perfect bridge between warm afternoons and crisp evenings. They are easy to layer under a blazer for work calls, or throw on with jeans for soccer practice. Having them in a set of neutrals made it effortless to feel put together without overthinking it.
We squeezed in a few late-season camper trips, and I can’t tell you how glad I was to toss in a set of sharp knives. Prepping shrimp Caesar salads or chopping veggies from the garden was so much smoother than wrestling with dull knives. This was one of those small upgrades that made a big difference.
September wouldn’t be complete without a cozy book. I curled up more than once with a small-town romance on my Kindle, latte in hand, while the rain tapped on the windows. It was the perfect reminder to slow down and soak in these in-between-season moments.
Speaking of lattes, this was the month I finally made my morning coffee feel like a café treat. A simple milk frother made my cinnamon and pumpkin spice lattes extra special, and it quickly became a daily ritual I looked forward to.
The garden gave us one last burst of green this month, and I spent afternoons clipping thyme, basil, and parsley. Hanging them on a herb drying rack kept the kitchen neat while making sure we’ll have plenty of herbs for winter cooking. It felt like a satisfying way to “close” the garden for the season.

Looking back, September was full of small comforts and thoughtful routines that made the transition into fall feel a little easier. Whether it was slipping on a turtleneck, lighting a candle, or cozying up with a book, each favorite brought me joy in its own way. Here’s to carrying that same cozy-coastal energy into October.
